Vicar for Church Planting
Both Fr Josh and his wife Annalisa are originally from the Midwest (Josh from South Bend, IN and Annalisa from Springfield, IL). In 2002, they met at college in Greenville, SC and have stayed in South Carolina ever since. They have have a son and a daughter at home as well as an Old English Bulldog-Chihuahua mix they saved from the streets.
The Finks moved to the midlands in December 2017 to help lead the church planting efforts of Church of the Apostles. Previous to that, Fr Josh served as the Assistant Rector at St Paul’s Church in Greenville, SC. He studied Humanities at Bob Jones University, Theology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing a DMin at Nashotah House Theological Seminary.
Close to Josh’s heart are the small, local settings where people can see each other as persons, and share together in grace. His hope for All Souls Church is to be a place where the apostolic faith of Jesus Christ is experienced locally in Lexington--a place where people can personally meet each other and God in that amazing grace.
