Katie Castor
Katie Castor is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Columbia International University. She operates a private practice at CotA, serving members of the church as well as the greater community of Columbia. Her specialized areas of training are in Marriage and Family Counseling and Trauma Therapy. As a graduate student, Katie interned at Richland School District 2 and First Presbyterian Christian Counseling Center where she worked with youth, college students, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life adjustments, and relationship conflicts.
Katie and her family have attended Church of the Apostles since 2009. She and her husband Trevor moved to SC in 2005 after working in cross-cultural ministry for 6 years with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). When she is not busy with her three teenagers, Katie enjoys listening to podcasts, reading about history and culture, and outdoor adventures with her husband and golden retriever “Loki.”
