Pam and her family moved to Columbia in 2008 after serving in Chad, Africa and France. Prior to that, they made their home in Minnesota. She and her husband, Larry, have been married for over 30 years and have four children. She and Larry have been at Church of the Apostles since 2015.
In 2018, Pam completed her Master’s Degree in Ministry and Pastoral Care at CIU. Her passion is to help others walk through life struggles such as grief and loss, depression, anger, and questions about life in general. She is trained in premarital and marital counseling through Prepare/Enrich. She is also trained in level one of Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) through the Albert Ellis Institute. Throughout her time as a student, Pam has mentored students, as well as wives of graduate students.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, playing board games, attending soccer and baseball games, and being with family and friends. She also volunteers with Lutheran Family Services and International Friendship Ministries.
