Pentecost Sunday

“The heart of each believer becomes the new dwelling place of God.”

On the Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit was poured out on the Apostles and members of the nascent Church in fulfillment of the promise the Father had made to his people generations earlier.

With that outpouring of the Spirit's presence, in fulfillment of Jesus' instruction, the dwelling place of God moved from the Temple in Jerusalem to the heart of each individual believer, making us all the temple of God. Many call this day, "the birthday of the Church."

We will have one Eucharist at 10.30a. It is also a baptism Sunday, so if you or a family member desire baptism, please contact the office.

After the service, we will gather in the Parish Hall to enjoy birthday cake and ice cream together.
