Dean Edgar will introduce us to Lewis’ fictional depictions of the afterlife, connecting them to their theological base. We’ll then hear dramatized the stories of a man too prideful for grace and another too cynical to receive it.
It is not necessary to read the book ahead of time, however for those who wish to do so, Act One is taken from Chapters 1-4, 7.
The potluck supper begins at 6p, followed by the program in the south transept at 6.50. Children and youth will depart from there to their own programs downstairs, and we’ll all wrap up at 7.45. Nursery opens at 6.40.
