Apostles 101 Inquirer's Class

September 18-November 27

Room 107 — Taught by our clergy, here you will get answers to questions that newcomers typically ask as we delve into what makes us unique: the sacraments, liturgy and history. We’ll also address basic theological issues with the help of Simply Christian, by Bishop NT Wright. Finally, we’ll talk about how you can use your spiritual gifts to serve our parish family. Upon completion of the class, anyone who would like to sign a Membership Covenant is invited to do so.

New Testament Treasures

Room 106 — The New Testament is not just a book, but a collection of books, written by various authors, covering a variety of topics. Still, there are central themes that hold these texts together, such as God’s fulfillment of the Old Testament in the person and work of Christ, and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. In this course we will explore some of these “treasures” and see how they apply to our daily walks with God. Taught by Markus Klausli.

Network is a course designed to help you discover—and use—your spiritual gifts. Arcgeacon Kaneft will discuss the meaning of each gift and how it can be used to build up the body of Christ. A spiritual gifts’ inventory will enable you to discover your particular gifts, and how you can start living them out in the church and in the world.

Offered every semester, we will post here the next class, once our Fall schedule is set.
